这篇文章主要讲了好paper和坏paper的视觉特点。主要结论为：

(1) 好paper的视觉特点

高大上的数学公式，使得算法看起来非常有技术含量。

performance图表（比如ROC, PR等图）传递一种全面周到的信息。最好在画performance plot时除了给出performance accuracy等还给出了standard deviation指示。说明算法的稳定性。

给出程序运行结果的截图。列出几个算法在图像上运行得到的结果，例如不同图像分割算法在相同图片集上的分割结果。

好的展现算法的过程是：先给出详细的公式，然后将performance画成彩色曲线图，同时给出standard deviation bar或者confidence interval，最好再进行个statistical significance analysis，最后将该算法与其他state-of-the-art算法在图片上运行的结果排成行进行直观比较。

(2) 差paper的视觉特点

字数不够，页数不够。

有很大的数字表。横穿半页以上。让人看起来非常费劲。

没有漂亮的彩色插图。
