Moses told his father-in-law about everything the LORD had done to Pharaoh and the Egyptians for Israel's sake and about all the hardships they had met along the way and how the LORD had saved them. 摩西将耶和华为以色列的缘故向法老和埃及人所行的一切事,以及路上所遭遇的一切艰难,并耶和华怎样搭救他们,

the one who struck the blow will not be held responsible if the other gets up and walks around outside with his staff; however, he must pay the injured man for the loss of his time and see that he is completely healed. 若再能起来扶杖而出,那打他的可算无罪,但要将他耽误的工夫用钱赔

"If a man hits a manservant or maidservant in the eye and destroys it, he must let the servant go free to compensate for the eye. 人若打坏了他奴仆或是婢女的一只眼,就要因他的眼放他去得以自由.

"If men quarrel and one hits the other with a stone or with his fist and he does not die but is confined to bed,人若彼此相争,这个用石头或是拳头打那个,尚且不至于死,不过躺卧在床,

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell the Israelites this: `You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven: 耶和华对摩西说,你要向以色列人这样说,你们自己看见我从天上和你们说话了.

During the last watch of the night the LORD looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion. 到了晨更的时候,耶和华从云火柱中向埃及的军兵观看,使埃及的军兵混乱了,

The people of Israel called the bread manna. It was white like coriander seed and tasted like wafers made with honey.这食物,以色列家叫吗哪,样子像芫荽子,颜色是白的,滋味如同搀蜜的薄饼.

He made the wheels of their chariots come off so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, "Let's get away from the Israelites! The LORD is fighting for them against Egypt." 又使他们的车轮脱落,难以行走,以致埃及人说,我们从以色列人面前逃跑吧,因耶和华为他们攻击我们了.
