SYMPTOMS
When attempting to either import a Sales Order, or enter a Sales Order from the Sales Order form, the following errors occur:
ERROR
ORA-20001: APP-FND-01564: ORACLE error - 1422 in get_seq_info
Cause: get_seq_info failed due to ORA-01422: exact fetch returns more than the requested number of rows.
The SQL statement being executed at the time of the error was: SEQ.DOC_SEQUENCE_ID, SEQ.TYPE, SEQ.NAME...and was executed from the file AFSQNUMB.pls in Package OE_Header_Util Procedure Get_Order_Number.1
User-Defined Exception in Package OE_Header_Util Procedure Pre_Write_Process
CAUSE
There are duplicate Document Sequences defined.
SOLUTION
1. Go into the responsibility: Order Management Super User Responsibility.
2. Navigate to MENUPATH > Setup > Documents > Assign
3. Query up the Application: Order Management, and the Category at issue.
4. End Date the duplicate Document Sequence.
4. Retest the issue.
5. Migrate the solution as appropriate to other environments.
