How to fix Shrew Soft VPN " failed to attach to key daemon " error

Are you getting this error?

You are most likely getting this error because of something you did. The services are turned off for Shrew Soft VPN.

To get it working you need to make sure that all three of the Shrew Soft VPN services are up and running.

They should look like this:

If this still doesn’t work for you reboot. Make sure that they are started. Try again. If not un-install the client.

Download and run CCleaner. Make sure to remove all orphaned registry entries. Re-run the latest build of Shrew Soft VPN. Let me know if this helps you.
