He said, "Praise be to the LORD, who rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians and of Pharaoh, and who rescued the people from the hand of the Egyptians. 叶忒罗说,耶和华是应当称颂的,他救了你们脱离埃及人和法老的手,将这百姓从埃及人的手下救出来.

Then the LORD said to Moses, "I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions. 耶和华对摩西说,我要将粮食从天降给你们.百姓可以出去,每天收每

They served as judges for the people at all times. The difficult cases they brought to Moses, but the simple ones they decided themselves. 他们随时审判百姓,有难断的案件就呈到摩西那里,但各样小事他们自己审判.

This is what the LORD has commanded: `Each one is to gather as much as he needs. Take an omer for each person you have in your tent.'" 耶和华所吩咐的是这样,你们要按着各人的饭量,为帐棚里的人,按着人数收起来,各拿一俄梅珥.

Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its place. The Egyptians were fleeing toward it, and the LORD swept them into the sea. 摩西就向海伸杖,到了天一亮,海水仍旧复原.埃及人避水逃跑的时候,耶和华把他们推翻在海中,

`You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself.我向埃及人所行的事,你们都看见了,且看见我如鹰将你们背在翅膀上,带来归我.

coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long. 在埃及营和以色列营中间有云柱,一边黑暗,一边发光,终夜两下不得相近.

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell the Israelites this: `You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven: 耶和华对摩西说,你要向以色列人这样说,你们自己看见我从天上和你们说话了.

Now I know that the LORD is greater than all other gods, for he did this to those who had treated Israel arrogantly." 我现今在埃及人向这百姓发狂傲的事上得知,耶和华比万 神都大.
