As is shown in the picture, a young man lying on the ground, is loafing the day away. Without actually doing anything, he is just dreaming of "opportunity".
But what accounts for the opportunities in our lives? This question is likely to elicit a variety of responses. To begin with, except mere chance, most opportunities stem from courage and enterprise to seize them. What si more, many opportunities are the result of hard work and perseverance. A perfect example is Olympic athletes. Many Olympians are born with superior physiques, but without years of rigorous training, none of them would have realized their potential or have had the opportunity ot participate in the Olympic Games.
To sum up, it is my view that the number of opportunities each of us has depends on a combination of factors, including chance, our mindset, and perseverance. Only people who are well-prepared can make full use of opportunities and achieve success.
