一. 论文投稿过程中有时需要注册一些东西，例如：Mendeley等，下面解释一下这是什么：

1）Mendeley是Elsevier的一个论文作者注册的个人web，它可以展示自己的论文、database、group等信息，还可以关联orcid和Scopus账号，说白了就是个微博性质的东西，可以看到自己的论文的阅读量和引用量，你可以注册，因为可以连接到个人library，将自己的文献储存在里面，类似于百度云，但可以导出文献。

注意：Mendeley也可以用作文献管理器。个人觉得比endnotes好用一些（PS: 关于论文（文献）管理软件，可以参考Wiki上的比较：https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_reference_management_software）。

2）类似的，Springer有一个My Springer，即个人账户，对应还有一个My Library，同样可以储存参考文献，就是在浏览文献时直接可以添加到个人library中，没什么意思，没有endnote好用。

3）类似的，ResearchGate是另一个学者个人Web，可以看到自己的论文的阅读量和引用量，可以follow感兴趣的作者或文献，可以下载免费文献，可以文献传递，可以提问和回答问题，总之这是一个比前两个较热门的网站。很多期刊的审稿人都可以搜索到，你可以关注他们。

4）类似的，ORCID是一个web，注册后获得一个唯一的账号，投稿时候关联一个ORCID号就相当于认证了一下，这样可以避免同名的带来的搜索错误，很多期刊都需要这些操作，同时ORCID可以关联以上账号，也可以导出一张类似于个人简历的PDF，很不错。

5）Scopus账号是Elsevier的检索器，默认每个作者一个账号，但容易出错，比如作者单位换了一次，那就会出现两个账号，而且有一定的滞后性。
