1. Preparation
2. Create Virtual Machine, install Windows XP Professional & the VMware Tools.

5. Install Mazda IDS V95.01 update
6. Install Mazda IDS V95.02 update

8. Run Mazda IDS 95.02
1. Preparation
Open “Computer/Local Disk (D:)” to establish a new folder named “VXDIAG Mazda”, then minimize the interface.
Open “Computer/DVD RW Drive (E:) Ford Mazda IDS/VMware-workstation-KEY.txt”, then minimize the interface, also.
Open “VMware Workstation” on Desktop.
Select “File/create virtual machine”.
Click “Next” with the selection of “Typical (recommended)”.
Browse to open “en_windows_xp.iso” in “Local Disk (D:)”. Then click “Next”.
Copy these to “windows product key” and click “Next”.
Name
the virtual machine “VX DIAG Mazda”, and set “Computer/Local Disk
(D:)/VX DIAG Ford/VX DIAG Mazda” as “Location” . Then click “Next”.
Set “Maximum disk size: 120.0”, then click “Next”.
Click “Customize Hardware”.
Set “Memory for this virtual machine: 1024 MB”. Then close Hardware
(note: how much memory should you allocate to the virtual machine
depends on your computer actual memory. For example, my computer is
4Gand I allocated 1GB to the virtual machine. Here, you are advised to
use a computer with 4G memory.)
Click “Finish” to create the virtual machine and start installing Windows XP Professional and the VMware Tools.
2. Create Virtual Machine, install Windows XP Professional & the VMware Tools.
Click “OK”.
Waiting for the software installation...(about 30 min- 2 h)
Open Date and Time Properties on the computer and VMware, and you will
learn that the date and time on the computer is the same as those on
VMware.
Then click “OK” to close Date and Time Properties on VMware.
3. Fix date and time
Open Start menu on VMware to turn off computer.
Close “VC DIAG Mazda”, and right click “VC DIAG Mazda” in “My Computer” to remove.
Close “VMware Workstation”.
Open “Computer/ Local Disk (D:)/VX DIAG Mazda” to find out the file (VX DIAG Mazda.vmx) ends with “.vmx”.
Right click “VX DIAG Mazda.vmx” to open with Notepad.
Page down.
Copy these from “XMware-workstation-KEY.text-Notepad” to the last of “VX DIAG Mazda.vmx-Notepad”.
Close “XMware-workstation-KEY.text-Notepad”, save the change in “VX DIAG Mazda.vmx-Notepad” and close it.
Open “VMware Workstation” on Desktop.
Select “File/open” to open “Computer/Local Disk (D:)/VXDIAG Mazda/VX DIAG Mazda.vmx”.
Click to “Power on this virtual machine”.
Click “OK” for Removable Device.
Open the date and time on the computer and VMware, and you will get different date and time.
4. Install Mazda IDS V95
Maximize the VMware interface.
Click Start menu to make “My Computer” show on Desktop.
Open “My Computer” on Desktop.
Open “Ford Mazda IDS (D:)/Mazda IDS95/Mazda IDS V95”.
Choose setup language to continue.
Click “Yes” to proceed.
Click “Next” to install Mazda IDS on your computer.
Click “Next” with the selection of “I agree .... License agreement”.
Click “Next”.
Click “Install” to begin installation.
Installing... (about 50 min)
Configuring...
Updating...
Configuring...
Click “Reboot” to restart your computer after successful installation of Mazda IDS.
5. Install Mazda IDS V95.01 update
Open “My Computer/Ford Mazda IDS (D:)/Mazda IDS95/Mazda IDS V95.01 update”.
Installing...
Configuring...
Updating...
Configuring...
Click “Reboot” to restart your computer after Mazda IDS has updated to version 95.01.
6. Install Mazda IDS V95.02 update
Open “My Computer/Ford Mazda IDS (D:)/Mazda IDS95/Mazda IDS V95.02 update”.
Installing...
Configuring...
Updating...
Configuring...
Click “Reboot” to restart your computer after Mazda IDS has updated to version 95.02.
Restart your computer.
7. Install VCMII Driver 2.2.01505
7.1 Install the software for USB Serial Converter
Open “My Computer/Ford Mazda IDS (D:)/VCMII Driver 2.2.01505”.
Click “Next” to install VCMII Driver 2.2.01505.
Click “Next”.
Installing...
Click “Finish” after installing VCMII PLUS.
Click “OK”.
Connect the vehicle and VXDIAG VCX NANO, you will see a message “Found New Hardware” at the bottom right on Desktop.
Click “Next” with the selection of “Yes, this time only”.
Click “Next” with the selection of “Install the software automatically (Recommended)”.
Click “Finish” for installing the software for USB Serial Converter.
7.2 Install the software for USB Serial Port
Click “Next” with the selection of “Yes, this time only”.
Click “Next” with the selection of “Install the software automatically (Recommended)”.
Click “Finish” for installing the software for USB Serial Port.
8. Run Mazda IDS 95.02
Open “Mazda IDS” on Desktop.
Select “Start New Session/All other”, and click the tick button.
Establishing communication to PCM...
Click “Yes” (vehicle specification).
Click the tick button with the selection of “No” answering “Is the vehicle equipped with DSC?”
Click the tick button.
Select “Module Programming”, and click the tick button.
Select “Module Programming” and exit.
Select “Self Test”, and click the tick button.
Select “All CMDTCs”.
Exit the DTCs interface.
Select “DataLogger”, and click the tick button.
Select “Module PCM” and click the tick button.
Click the tick button.
Exit.
Click the cross button of Mazda IDS 95.02 interface.
Select the cross button and return to tool save recordings.
Select “Delete...” and click the tick button.
Close the Mazda IDS 95.02 interface with selection of the tick button.
